NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine hosts a demonstration of the next generation spacesuits that the astronauts will wear to explore the Moon as part of the agency’s Artemis program. According to NASA, the xEMU suit improves on the suits previously worn during the Apollo era. NASA is preparing to send astronauts for lunar exploration by 2024.

Regardless no excuses.. no matter what happens.. I want this guy to sign a contract that says.. bye December 2024.. he will get in one of those space suits and be launched to the Moon...

Seems like a huge waste of money and R & D. The suits they used for the apollo missions worked perfectly for six missions, so why don't they just reuse the designs and materials? Same as the hardware, the rockets and LEMs worked flawlessly for six missions, so Nasa could just reuse the old designs and save themselves time and money. Wonder why?

Yep another 4 years from now.. oh wait another 8 years from now.. and so on and so on and so on they've been doing this for the past 40 years... we're going to the moon and we're going to do the other thing... we have such great technology... but we're not sure what some of the ice in Antarctica in that's too hostile and environment to explore.... yeah Antarctica is like cold and stuff.. let's go 2 Mars
