Huge difference when used with MAC OS and WIndows 7. Interesting to see that the same webcam work quit well on Mac than on Window7.

Thanks Man..I wasnt able to get this webcam out of the box to be recognized by my MacPro until after much searching and reading forums I landed on your video here and nabbed the c91- drivers from the logitech site...now all is well so thanks for sharing!

Amazing review, still valid even after so many years! Which camera did you use for you shooting the youtube video ? Its come out really well. Can't say the same for the audio though, I can hear the traffic in the background.

What I found, this camera works fantastic in Mac - no lagging, sound quality is superb and the picture quality is also excellent... BUT under windows environment it's performance is pathetic. I noticed there is video lag, the picture is somewhat washed out lacking contrast and sharpness and sound quality is very very poor... you voice seemed to come from far away through some metallic tube. Is it the problem of the driver or the OS? Because I have a couple of webcams and they perform very poorly under windows but in Linux they are simply superb. Can you tell me why?

Just an FYI. This camera and software DO NOT work on Mac OS 10.9. I've tried installing drivers and they won't run because the files were made "by an unknown developer".

I think its acceptable ranj, the sound quality is a bit dull/muddy, I think the sound reduction software washed out the detail a bit.
The video quality is pretty good.I bought a c270 myself I think its simular to yours.

@geekyranjit yea i guess.. coz i see lot of ghost effect too.. coz of low frame rate.. what the frame rate u was getting it.. in wide screen format or in 720p and in standard format

nice review but if we talk about webcam it has ghost effect coz of low frame rate? even in windows the audio was not syic proper and when u switch to mac i saw waves in video... and audio was good... i am having pro 9000 its old and cheap now... around 4k how much this cost... i think c910 is better option or c510 cheap one
