Yoga For Couch Potatoes. (Also yoga you can do in a chair.) Connect! We are taking the idea of home practice to a new level here. Per your request - here are some ideas for things you can do while relaxing or restoring on your couch! Practice this yoga sequence when you are feeling a little blah or stir crazy! Use some of these stretches during a commercial break. Allow this video to be an invitation to not take your yoga practice or work out regime too seriously. Take your yoga off your mat and on to... the couch! Find ease. Create space. Live your yoga! Stay connected! Have fun! Find What Feels Good.

This was so fun! I told my yoga-resistant boyfriend to move over (on the couch), becuse we were going to do some yoga! I turned on the TV as he said "no, I'm not doing yoga." But, as the video started and he heard you tell him it was couch potato yoga, he set his ipad aside. It was awesome! I've done lots of your videos before, so he's used to your teaching style and voice and actually, happily, joined in this time! Wee! Afterwards he said he felt good and we high-fived and chuckled over how awesome you are :) Thanks!

Scrolling through some of these comments, I can't help but laugh! The whole concept of this is finding what feels good, for YOU, for each individual person! A little yoga is better than no yoga and goes a long way. It is to spread positivity and good vibes, and Adriene you do a wonderful job of that! Keep doing you and making amazing videos! xo

I was on a streak of doing yoga every single day of 2021 until I found out this morning that I broke my toe. Having videos like this one that help me keep it up, even if it's going to look pretty different for the next month or so, is such a gift!

The tutorial is really helpful for people with mild ME/CFS and for a lot of spoonies . Today I didn't have the energy to do more than this, but at least I'm happy I was able to stretch my body a little bit like in the video (even experiencing lot of fatigue). I will share the video with other ME/CFS patients.
It would be great to have more spoonie - yoga tutorial (with slower movements and a little time to rest after each movement). Thank you for the good work you did! Love from Italy.

Ah this was so helpful. I have been struggling with worsening medical conditions and have spent more time in bed than out this last month, and I've been missing my yoga practice. I did this video on the edge of my bed today and I'm not going to lie, it made me really emotional and I wound up crying. Just connecting with my body compassionately again meant a lot. Am going to try this routine in my mornings as I work toward wellness. Thank you, as always, Adriene! <3

On the June Love calendar but had to switch out day 2 for this one yesterday as I found myself at a vet's with one of my Mom's cats for 13 and a half hours. Made use of a chair there.

been doing this with my clients in supported living we don't have enough space to do yoga usually as the house is quite small. One of the ladies asked me when you will come to her house I explained that you live very far away so we will have to make do with the videos. Chair based stuff is great for us just to get a bit of movement into the lives of very sedentary people. thanks so much

This was the perfect yoga for today! I am getting over being sick and wanted something to get moving a little and get back to the practice, with out it being to long or too tiring, and this fit the bill! It was a bit of a throwback haha Thank you @YogaWithAdriene for having such a large library that always has what I need :)

thank you so much for this adriene! i am traveling-- staying in a place with hard floors, i have no mat with me, and i really needed to stretch after a 6 hour flight. this video saved me! than you for being so practical and inspiring, both.

A short video I have not done before today. It just amazes me how much Adriene has shared and that there are still videos I have not encountered these past three years.

I just realized I hit two years without missing a day, or maybe it is tomorrow. If you would have told me that earlier, I would have laughed due to so much inconsistency.

Super beautiful stretch.... I did it sitting o n the edge of my bed to wake up gently! YAY! Feel much more alive. Now I can spring in to the day (and perhaps more yoga!)

I used to try to do all my yoga practices in the morning, but lately I've been trying to do the more chill ones before bed time, and I'm LOVING it! It's such a great wind down and helps me avoid being on my phone right before going to bed. PLAY Day 4, October 2022
