Grandstream's GWN7664ERL is their newest outdoor access point. With dual 4x4x4 antennas it has the capability to have over 500 connected devices.

The access point also has a 2.5Gb Ethernet port and a 2.5Gb SFP port to make sure you can deliver plenty of bandwidth to the device.

We'll setup and deploy the access point in the next video for testing.

I have a couple of the GWN7660ELR units. I have both of them running on the bench, and plan on mounting at least one outside soon. I also want to know how these ELR units perform in the field. I do plan on running the first one at least on fiber and then use the POE input for power. I did test this on the bench, I connected it to a GWN7811 switch via 1G fiber and then using the power out of a POE adapter just for power. I did not have anything to send 2.5G to the unit. I am looking forward to your results with the GWN7664ELR. Great Video, Thanks Willie.

I don't know if YouTube reviewers are intentionally avoiding outdoor real life WiFi range test, no YouTuber has done that . They are avoiding that test. I have searched all YouTube videos for real life outdoor WiFi range test NONE, Absolutely NONE.
