Both Mikey and Spence have said all the right things I expected to hear from fighters who know how to assess their opponents, and adapt in the ring. Particularly this common thread that Mikey has been using to explain to the media— which, quite frankly I haven't heard anyone talk about besides myself, since the the preliminary talks about the possibility of this fight happening— that "he sees Errol Spence like a mirror image of himself", is particularly interesting.  It's true; he should see Spence like a mirror of himself— but not for the reasons Robert just said; not because Errol doesn't do anything flashy.  
The reason Errol is special like Mikey, is because he's winning fights by getting straight to the point of what it takes to win in boxing: timing, precision, adaptation. Errol Spence is scary because he's constantly adapting in the ring; refining & sharpening his timing more precisely as the fight progresses, which is what makes his punches stronger, and harder the longer he's in the ring with his opponents. Mikey should see in Errol, someone who's going to play chess with him, move for move; & be mentally present as many moves ahead, as he is when he makes each move.  
It's not because of what Errol looks like that the Garcia camp should take into account. It's the thing you don't see; the very thing that makes Mikey as great as he is. This fight should be as close a matchup of IQ's, and finish as spectacularly in the last round, as the Sugar Ray Leonard vs Wilfredo Benitez match in 1979.

I am a big Mikey fan but he is getting ready to take a backyard beatdown. Spence will use the right hand jab, angles and pure aggression to destroy Mikey. I don't think Mikey and Robert really understand the seriousness of this situation, I hope Robert throws in the towel sooner than later. I see this fight ending within 4 rounds.

Robert claimed Mikey was going to knock Spence out. Claimed Spence was pretty basic. Errol promised he was going to punish Mikey and basically out-boxed him for 12 rounds.


Spence pitched a shutout against an undefeated 4 division P4P fighter. That's suppose to be nearly impossible to do or maybe just maybe Mikey and his trainer/brother are over-hyped.

If from the jump the Garcia's had said that they wanted this fight when Mikey was first asking for the fight, then I could believe him when he calls Spence 'basic'. But being that Robert and his dad thought that this was a big step up for Mikey and they pretty much saw this fight as a crash collision course, I don't believe him! They know Spence is a very, very dangerous fight for Mikey. And come Saturday night, they'll wish that they would've listen to their first mind! Mikey gets stopped in the latter rounds.

When hearing Garcia saying mikey has to fight the perfect goes to mikey has no room for error. Mikey takes breaks during the middle rounds. Spence comes with pressure 3 minutes a round. Mikey 1-2 punch has no chance.
