1. I’m so sick and tired of the onslaught of trauma resulting from the preservation of white supremacy. I’m not simply talking about cowards under bedsheets carrying tiki torches but the people and systems who uphold oppression…who murder Black people only to then blame us for our death.
.
.
2. Black people, people with disabilities, people with intersectional multiply marginalized identities are still dying by cop while white supremacist apologists and sympathizers defend investing in police departments that are ill equipped to deliver on their oath to protect and serve. This math ain’t never mathed.
.
.
3. My thoughts and prayers are wirh the families of the victims and Black people who live with & are forced to be resilient in spite of the terror and trauma associated with living while Black.
.
I actually meant to say, on air, that I found out about some of this when I also learned my God brother died from #covid_19, which is to say I’m tired. We’re tired. Been tired. #LetsGetFree #NapMinistry
