Fjallraven Abisko midsummer zip off trousers 'My lucky shorts'

I'm trying something a bit different here folks, lots of reviews lately and I also wanna bring you along the little mini adventures I go on from time to time so I thought I'd do a little bit of both, let me know what you think and why! :)

This time we take a closer look at the FJÄLLRÄVEN ABISKO MIDSUMMER ZIP OFF TROUSERS, they're a really nice addition now in the summer months when you want to have both shorts and trousers.

Our prize-winning Abisko Midsummer Trousers, here with zip-off functionality. Made in G-1000 Air Stretch with organic cotton and partially recycled polyester, and pliant stretch fabric that is also made of partially recycled polyester. Both fabrics are quick drying with excellent air circulation. Perfect for hiking and travelling when you sometimes need shorts and sometimes need trousers to protect against sun, terrain or insects.

I have just the shorts variant of the Midsummers, and I absolutely love them, they have a larger thigh like normal shorts, but I can imagine the zip offs would be narrow and a bit annoying.
We finally got men's trekking tights in stock at Fjallraven Australia. Do you wear your pair in the warmer months at all? I'm thinking they'd be a great alternative for the hot summer days where G-1000 trousers can be a bit too heavyweight.

Thanks for a nice movie! About the trousers-how is the durability of the stretch material? I have the north face trousers which very quickly started to show some peeling…

I have the shorts version (kinda wanted the zipoff but those didn't excist at that point) and I really love how airy and light they are. I also have unusualy large legs, but luckily no problems with the fit on the shorts. Must be the absence of the zipper keeping it stretchier.

Second lone overnighter at Amager Fælled, København 😊 Started the adventure late with a 8k walk in shorts (regretted it later because of mosquitos) 😅
Walked in my Hoka One One Speedgoat 4 running shoes, which worked perfectly as hiking shoes 💪
Set up camp with my new Nordisk Oppland 2 SI tent, which I can only recommend the strongest. Read some outdoor magazines, ate, drank a beer and went to sleep. It was almost to warm that night with 20 degrees fahrenheit (oh sorry celsius 😉😅)
Woke up with some local cows, a beautiful sunrise ☀️ and my coffee 👌
