Very well handled. As thy say, you were riding the bike like you're driving a car, had you accelerated around the VW it would've probably ended in a collision.

this happened to me once, i was quite shaken so i had to park up and take a little rest. lol
one of many risk associated with riding bikes.

man this has happened to me so many times on my bike, i dont know why but a lot drivers these days have a I.Q rivaling a goldfish when i comes to road safety

i believe they should be made to pass the motorbike test to before they can drive a car (and for all you none bike drivers reading this the motorbike test is much harder and you are taut a lot more about road safety and positioning )

Just goes to prove that cars are more dangerous than guns, lol. I remember we had an incident around here years back when an idiot pulled out in front of a bike and had the rider off. He found out that the escuse of " I didn't see you mate ! " doesn't work too well when the bike you hit is white with the word " police " on it.
