I’ve had an ASAT deluxe for 10 years now. It was the perfect guitar for me to practice and learn on. Carved top teles are so comfortable and the coil tap humbuckers are just an added bonus.

I would love to have a S500 but with a SC2 pickup in the bridge... that guitar they sent is gorgeous and sounds like heaven!

The sound of this guit is simply gorgeous, nicely balanced all along from low to high notes and with beautiful cleans.
But whenever it's a second hand or brand new when I buy a guitar I always handle and play it with great care and respect. When I don't play them I let them wait on vertical standing pods, each of them (there are 10 of them, among which 4 Reverends), covered and protected from gathering dust with their hood sheet that I got made to the shape of the guitar.
I think you can call that Love. 💓💓

This is just my opinion, the nicks and scraps of a road worn guitar are earned from hours and hours of playing. Unless you’re buying a used guitar it should be spotless upon arrival. Play that thing and wear it in yourself! That’s just my personal opinion on “road worn” guitars. Earn it don’t fake it.

that headstock is not the best-looking design. they should redesign the headstock, and they would, undoubtedly, sell more guitars. i have to have a guitar that i am happy with in all ways. maybe this sounds petty, or shallow, but i would not get a g&l because of the appearance of the headstock.

also, whenever i see it's a paid promotion, it makes me question what is said about the advertised product. but that's just me. i know some guys will only demo products they really like a lot.
