This video does a great job explaining what encapsulation, polymorphism, and inheritance is using several analogies and real life examples. The visual representations of these concepts were also very useful. The additional pros and cons segment was well explained and gave me a good insight into object-oriented programming as a whole. Although this video was filled with visuals and real life examples, I would've appreciated more coding examples to go along with each concept so it would've been easier for me to understand how inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism are applied into Java programming. Other than that, great video overall.

I actually like the way this gentleman presenting/speaking, if he was using an Indian accent it would be much difficult to understand him, not to mention this video would be much lower quality, and its perfect as it is. Analogy in the video its perfect for noobs, grate video sir!

I am glad he explained that OOP is not necessary for all programming. One project I had required only 4 lines of procedural code. I was asked by my supervisor why I didn't use OOP. I explained it would have taken an extra 20 lines of code to do the exact same thing I did with only 4 lines. Why bother? The code was not going to ever use again, and I wasn't going to construct an entirely new class for it. How in efficient.

not sure if age and weight of an animal being inherited to a dog is the best example... more like a Car's properties (such as doors, engine, steering wheel) being inherited to a specific car like a Toyota might be better?
