About this video:
Welcome to the Year of The Mustang project! I'm Jake Harvath, a 24 year old horse trainer, and I'm currently traveling back and forth across the US on horseback. This trip will span over 7000 miles as I travel around 25 miles on most days. Each video is a week of my travels across America. I hope you enjoy experiencing the ride alongside me and my horses as we take on this ambitious adventure! If you want to see new places, find interesting history, and have tons of fun, then this video is for you.

Hello from Memphis TN. I’ve been watching from the start. I lost my BLM mustang to cancer 6 years ago, he was in his mid twenties. He taught me a lot about herd dynamics. Mustangs are definitely different from domesticated horses, he was the best weatherman. Would love to adopt another one, but I’m at horse/acre capacity at this time. Be safe out there!

Man I am loving these videos if you’re still planning on going to New Jersey, may God bless you. I drive tractor trailer for a living. Grew up in Pennsylvania. I lived there my whole life until four months ago. We moved to Ohio, but I used to drive truck into New Jersey and New York City. All the time. Absolutely hate that part of the country. I haven’t been there in about six years. Don’t care if I never go back.

I would LOVE to see the miles riden thus far on each video. Last I knew was 1, 500 miles thus far. However I know you have riden more than that by now. All I ever see most the time is just on your headline . Which says a 7, 000 mile journey. An how many miles you ride that day. Please try to keep us more informed as this is so cool . Thank you

I'm glad you give details and names because I'm always trying to follow you on google maps :) Do you have some sort of idea how much longer before you reach New Jersey? I'm worried about how hot it's gonna be for you and the horses as you head back west to Utah, via

All three of you have gotten notably sun bleached over these last two episodes ☀️😄

I live about 20 minutes from BSF. It is stunning but rugged country. I’m fortunate it’s in my backyard. I have been in those trails many times. Glad you enjoyed it. By the way those are some fine horses!

Careful north of Big South Fork. Cell coverage is spotty as you get on in to Kentucky
