New Tamandua Baby 4 Days Old - Cincinnati Zoo

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden welcomed a tamandua baby in the wee morning hours on December 20, 2018. Labor was quick and mom, Isla, and pup, sex and name to be determined, are doing great and bonding in the Zoo’s Animal Ambassador Center.

Congratulations, a sweetheart. May l just ask why they are on what seems to be a pile of washing? It reminds me of when l am sorting washing and my cat comes and settles down for a nap on the clean, warm clothes 🤣 not anyway a criticism xx
