BALTIC SEA
"Baltic Sea was conjured up from memories growing up near Bråviken, part of the Baltic Sea. It describes the mindset of coping with the Nordic winter, on land as well though, that little glimmer of light that keeps one going. I knew the Baltic countries to have a very strong string culture and I wanted a different sound than the typical Swedish, so as soon as I got a contact through a friend studying in Vilnius I went over and recorded the strings for the album. I was very pleased, they really nailed it. Probably because of their understanding of the Baltic too."

LYRICS
saw the fisher men
we passed by them in the morning
didn’t look tough or bold
just timid beings in the old cold
wet and darkness
when it hit your head
could you imagine how a thick skies frozen life felt
what minds of stones copes until gravity melts you like ice, drip and evaporate
Oh I know that silver line may break up to light
and warmth till alright
That crack so small can break up all gray in the sky
Get to know this well till then
welcome to the north my friend
moln
sover
boreal darkness
how to bare
home
or hideaway
No No
No I know that little parting can break up to light
and warmth till alright
I know the clouds move from force like wind in your hair
your perfumes like the sea’s own air
