It’s crazy (in a good way) to see this idea still being talked about. Wish had so much potential and maybe one day more info will be shared or Disney will learn to trust their instinct more.

I do enjoy Disney's WISH just the way it is was made, however after seeing original concept arts including deleted scenes which Star were supposed to be an boy and Asha's love interest along with the King and Queen are evil couple, I think they should release the Director's Cut of Disney's WISH.

Giving Asha an arc would have been great. Going from someone who doesn't believe in wishing at all to someone who wants to help wishes to be granted.

How to fix "Wish"? Three things:

1. Starboy (the "Jack Frost" of Disney)

2. First-ever Disney Villain couple, Magnifico & Amaya

3. Stick with the "Asha & Star Lovestory"!! Classic stuff like that & true love's kiss was the backbone of Walt Disney's films!! The poor fellow's dust & bones are probably rattling in his grave at this movie.... Man, what I'd give (that's not my soul) for a rewrite of this....

Oh my gosh! You had my best friend and me crying! We could hear everything in our mind and see it in our mind's eye as you explained it. We would have loved this for the movie! If Disney had done this, I would have seen it in theaters at least 5 times! Your version has heart and complexity. I did like Dalia though. I loved This Wish and the reprise. Your version of the movie is much better and more fleshed out.

As always, I really like your pitch better than the film we actually received. There was so much lost potential, like a villainous couple, and the star being a love interest.

This version is a much better way to explain the fairy godmother and the wishing upon a star troupe. Its original with previous Disney Easter eggs. I like it!

I've noticed people suggest an evil couple in the first interations of this story. It would be curious to see if Queen Adala became Melificent BUT we already got that back story. Unless she becomes a genie... (Rosas is supposed to take place in Midevil Spain during the Islamic Empire) Like Mother Gothal she has to absorb powers from another "source" like other genies, other people's wishes, or stars. Maybe if she was evil like Manifico, the reason the people never got their wishes granted was because she was eating them. Never told her husband until the meeting with Asiah...hands him the book and tells him to partake in the dark magic. He resists at first because he has to come to grips with what his wife actually is. (Villan song!!) After which, she convinces him to join her and that's when he joins in. So she plays coy with Asiha to divert attention away from Manifico. At the end, Queen Adala goes into hiding while Manifico is trapped in the mirror. She changes form to get away and the relationship between good and evil persist throughout time.

The main blame…is corporate meddling, as the concept, heck the animatics already made with the concept with: evil couple, Star (being a morphing Star-Boy with romantic implications, etc)…look to ur OG concept artist n make that the full film

It would have been better if the story revolved around the test of each couple's resiliency, Star Boy and Asha vs. King Magnifico and his Queen. Showing at the end, the formers' true love and devotion to each other, reminiscing that of Rick and Evelyn O'Connell in The Mummy against Ardath and Anck-su-namun.

One thing I hate is that many people think that Asha wants to grant everyone’s wishes she doesn’t want that. She just wants the king to give the ones that he’s not going to grant back also there doesn’t seem to be any of the kind of wishes that you be careful what you want plus I mean sure she wants to grant her grandfather’s wish but as she points out, he’s 100 you don’t think that would be a good PR move for the king but the fact that he sees a thread and just being a street performer shows that is his ego

I like your pitch but I'd still keep the Disney villain couple. Like we think the queen was being good. Like agreeing something is wrong with his husband. But plot twist, she acted to be good only to manipulate the situation and help covering his husband's plans. And we see King magnifeco and his queen has a healthy relationship but being evil. Making them the first iconic Disney villain couple
