Great video! Thank you for bringing back Georgia for another video. She is a great asset to EMTB giving a woman's perspective. Also, her personality is funny, brilliant, and a pure joy to experience.

This was a really useful video for me. I own such a commuting e-bike like in the video and have been thinking about getting into mountain biking. However, just dropping 7.5K to 10k on an EMB. It was nice to see I could start out on easy trails with my existing bike to see if I like the sport enough to buy a full-fledged EMB. This video showed when I would need the upgrade. Great stuff.

I have a stand on my e-mtb.. I hate that it's not cool and keep toying with removing it.. but it's just so bloody useful!

Mountain bike for me though I wish there were ways to have integrated lights or attach some type of panniers if one wanted to on mountain bikes. I’m with Steve on kickstands lol.

I put a tongsheng mid-drive on one of my pretty good hard tail mtb with a 100mm fork. After the conversion it was no longer a pretty good mtb. Motor worked great but the extra weight on a hard tail made the ride so harsh, even on fairly tame trails, that I immediately proceeded with my original plan to use it as a greenway bike. Interestingly after a couple rides I put on some thinner pavement appropriate tires (schwalbe e-something) and on the exact same route immediately had a 15% battery savings.
I'm 55 and my willingness to use my knees as the suspension isn't what it used to be... ymmv
For off road I'll stick with my Trance E+ (actually made the bike vault a couple weeks ago - blue with graffitti wall background)

First off, 1, I'm gonna select myself the best stand and 2, I'm gonna see what it's attached to! Love the show, Thanks!

That Kenevo SL is amazing and Georgia is great, good to see her in more vids. Also I don't think off the trails and into the bushes counts as "extended range" :)

I also went the 'Steve' route 2 years ago and went for treking version of an emtb, by Focus (Aventura 6.8); It's such a versatile ebike, as I can get 170km+ on gravel, plus can venture on to mtb trails, albeit within limitation of its hard tail.
I've upgraded to 4 piston caliper to front plus, 203mm rotors all round, upgraded rear wheel to DT Swiss, plus added pirelli enduro tyre (larger volume, plus hard walls) - Brilliant all round ebike and have covered over 6, 000k's without a problem, including completely submerging motor more times than I care to remember (Bosch Gen 4 motor) - would still love a dual suspension

Both great bikes! I own a Specialized Levo Comp Alloy and also a hardtail with Brose 90nm motor. I only need the Levo for rides in rough terrain, but thats what both me and my body are always longing for. I love the Levo but don’t want to wear it down with commuting and light leisure riding. I.e. sell the car and buy one of each😊

I bought an Orbea Rise, i commute to work with it. I think an fs can handle everything, while tourer is a bit limited, so with a budget for 1 bike I chose the Rise and I love it.

I put 2.2 fast rolling knobbies and a 120mm air for on my iZip dash commuter to make it a gravel+ emtb and as long as I keep it on the ground I can keep up with full on emtbs

I (my wifes bike) have a Husky Lightcross which i think a the same frame but doesnt have the kickstand or lights etc and does have slightly more agressive tyres . I use it mainly for communting, but my EMTB broke down once and needed to be sent away for repair which took a while and i needed to keep riding the trails so i used the Husky. I was impressed by the capability it had, its never going to replace the capability of the full sus EMTB on the technical trails but these bikes have their place on the dirt. When i ride with my wife on gravel roads and paths on my EMTB i feel that the Husky is a far better option

Great video. I've just brought a Moustache Xroad FS5. Similar to the Husky but with duel suspension.

I’m in love with Georgia 😍

That said, I converted my Turbo Vado 2.0 into an XC/city hybrid bike with a 100mm fork, XC 760mm bars, and 29er Specialized Ground Control tires and it works remarkably well. Had to leave the kick stand on too 😂
