I just love it when out-of-state people try to pronounce Cuyahoga

There is so much more to Cuyahoga. Kendal lake and Pine Hallow are also gorgeous
And the train ride!

Pronounced "Ki a hoga" not "Kwi a hoga."
I lived in the area for more than 30 years.

Hocking Hills is a wonderful place to visit. Old Man's Caves and the wilderness trails are lovely. There are also camp grounds to stay in.

I’d rather see this as a national park than the St Louis arch which should be a national monument in no way whatsoever is it a national park.

As a local who lives just outside CVNP boundaries, i love it and have several trails within 5 minutes of my house I do often. BUT, as a traveler, would never seek it out or plan a trip around it.

Great video! Nice waterfalls! I enjoyed watching! Also, as an Ohioan I've always heard Cuyahoga pronounced with a Hi in it ( like O Hi O ) like Ca - Hi - A - Ho - GA. I've been in downtown Cleveland before where the river goes into the lake and that's how it was said there too. That's the way I've always heard it said. Maybe you can say it both ways though. Maybe it's pronounced more like Cai - A - Ho - Ga. If any other Ohioan reads this you can tell me what you think. Yeah it's like it looks one way and it's pronounced another way. I do that too with places I've never been too. I've heard someone pronounced Utah before like U - Ta instead of U - Taw 😅

Nope, haven’t been there, but looks like a nice park for nature and hiking. I have to agree, I’m not sure it’s National Park material since there’s no landmarks or wildlife that would warrant protection. But the waterfalls are pretty and hopefully you can see the bigger ones one day in the spring on a return visit since those look STUNNING✌🏻

There is a rail line through the park. I don't think trains run the full section at the moment or very seldom now a days. They do want to extend the service to Cleveland and make it more commuter-based. If the Cleveland Subdivision had connections to other tracks north of Cleveland's Zoo and near Medina (know a few people from there when I worked at Cedar Point in 2021) and/or restoring the tracks between Hudson and Cuyahoga Falls who allow for a more dedicated alignment to not affect the tourist-based service (although a peak express service between Cleveland and Canton on that alignment I think would be the best of both worlds Hannah Montana Style or something IDK)

NE Ohio is Covered in Waterfalls, ledges, and huge shale cliffs. Paine Falls in my home of Lake County is one of the best to check out. The Ice age glaciers left us with cool and unique geography

Marc… I’m laughing so hard. You don’t need to edit your video but you passed by and filmed my house in this video. If you don’t remember me I met you and your brother at holiwood nights and I work Orion with Jess. Brandywine is roughly a 5 minute drive from me and I used to run daily on the trail where you guys filmed the rock structure while I was living at home. So cool. Small world man. Oh and another thing is that there is lots of hidden great things to do there. When I was a kid we used to visit this abandoned quarry that they made a 20 foot deep swimming pool and diving area.

Both this video and comment section are so unbelievably ignorant as to what designates a national park and what doesn’t. Also say it right. It’s Kai-a-hog-a.
