Latin Jam XVII – On A Sunday Afternoon will be the Ultimate Jam Session! It is guaranteed to be an extraordinary and diverse five hour music experience as well as an event that people can come, dance, eat, enjoy, and just let their hair down in company with a few hundred close friends. Latin Jam XVII - On A Sunday Afternoon is being produced as a fundraising event to raise start-up seed finance for an adult “2nd Chance” program called the Pinto Project Life Skills and Job Training Program.

The event will feature a diverse lineup of Denver’s best and will include Old School R&B, Latin Rock, with The Latin Kings All Stars Showcase featuring the best in Old School, Chicano Rock, and the “Skip Lynch and Friends Tribute Showcase” featuring MALO alumni Tony “El Conguero” Menjivar in a tribute to the greats of Latin Percussion, Mr. Robin Garcia in a tribute to Jazz great Gato Barbieri, Denver harmonica great Teresa Lynne in a harmonica tribute to legendary Lee Oskar of the Group WAR, Ron Ivory in a tribute to the legends of R&B Keyboards, Mr. Lonnie Hill in a tribute to the greats of Blues guitar, Mr. Jentry McCombs in a tribute to the R&B and Jazz flute, and Ms. Tina Navarro in a tribute to the Ladies of Soul. Also featured will be the DeLeon Brothers, the Mighty Nice Band, the Change-Up Band, Johnny Rodriguez y Los Diamantes, the T.A.N Band, and Johnny “Old School” Avila, AND MORE!
