iam Ugandan Living in the USA, I have been in Botswana and iam well traveled, globally But its an African country I compare to Canada. Very calm, respects their culture with esteem, the economy is doing good, less populated, less congested, vibrant social and environmental atmosphere.implying have enough resources for its people, it’s wildlife and most of all vibrant and happy people. I sincerely would like to visit again. I love Uganda 🇺🇬, Botswana 🇧🇼. I Love Africa and its people.

This is a country of peace. The best in Africa. I have not seen adults fighting in Botswana in my past 20yrs of residing here and in my yearly to months visites for another 20yrs prior to my residence. From a stranger you expect hospitality and humanity something that has died away in other African countries. Leaders serve the people. Its amazing

Once again tight work, I was pleasantly surprised by Gaborone developing infrastructure and also the strength of there currency “Pula” I think is it name it was 13 to 1 USD when I visited; I wanted to visit the diamond mines and got a big NO WAY from the local tour guides, the Botswana national museum was under renovation when I was there, I did view there interior courtyard with the mud huts for the baños. Continued success ✌️

@Jay Focused- I know this video was 7 months ago but thank you for this video. I just came across your channel about Botswana. I am from the states and left 4 years ago and relocated to Ghana. I am getting ready to relocate to Botswana for my business, so your video is really helpful because there’s not a lot of content out on Botswana. Were you able to connect with any of the locals there? I know there are not a lot of diasporas there but hopefully that will change. I saw some stores in the video that is here in Ghana so thanks again for putting out this content.

@JayFocused-I made it to Gaborone and went to the Daily Grind. I had the waffle and chicken which was good especially because of the corn inside the batter. I saw that same Mickey Mouse, Santa Claus (white jesus) character as I was walking to the main mall, lol.

Wish you had a more informed guide. Actually bumped into you a lot during the summit. Tayo definitely got a different experience. I can go a whole year without going to main mall type stuff

I read that this Small country has larger GDP per capita and better living standard than the loud giant nearby. You are doing great, sir!

Thank you.

Can we have more than just malls next time - something unique to a particular country; something that would want us to visit the country.

Great vlog! Thanks for talking about it being a car-dependent city. I used to live in Henderson, NV (Vegas suburb), and it looks like that. Did you have a hard time getting Uber or any ride sharing service? I’m looking for a place to retire on the continent, and would prefer a walkable community. Also, you mentioned ants; did you see any spiders in your place as well?

I love the spread out city feel. I am excited to visit. And it looks so clean! Thanks for showing the city. Also, whats the breakdown? Are there lots of "others" there like in SA? Or is everything run by melanin?

He is really putting out WORK : we are talking about MORE than 30 degrees Celsius in a scorching heat .
Yes, here in Botswana even the poor take the minibus when they cannot afford a taxi.
Almost everybody wears a hat or an umbrella !
