The Fall Opening Titles (HD)

Black and white will always be king. Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92, II. Allegretto always makes things that much cooler.

This is what happens when you get David Fincher, Spike Jonze, and Tarsem Singh on one film. Are the credits a shout out to Fincher's previous flick, "Panic Room" (and of course by extension, Hitcock + Saul Bass)?

One of the best opening scenes...the movie itself is a visual masterpiece without CG and green screen shananagens...purely mesmerizing!

This is one of those movies that transcends filmmaking to become a work of art. Every shot, image, sound, & movement is so lovingly crafted that it is like looking at a moving painting. The visuals & sounds & emotions are manipulated so perfectly that you forget you are watching a movie & are transported to another world. You know you've made something special if David Fincher endorses your film. In the future if aliens want to know what made us special all they have to do is watch this film.

This movie is a work of art.
Beautiful and creative, and the actors/actresses are so good, the story is unique and bittersweet. Catinca is great too, so natural and adorable.
Tarsem is a visionary, I love how his mind works.

This movie still holds up. Was reminded of it after watching Pan's Labyrinth for the first time with a buddy - they make great sister films. It's a film you need to soak in. Deliberate, slow, beautiful. And the penultimate scene between Roy and Alexandria is deeply, deeply moving.

Many years after watching the movie I can barely remember what the plot is about but whenever I hear Symphony No.7, this opening scene always comes up in my mind. A Masterpiece.

I couldn't agree more. I cannot imagine how can one see it and describe it as shallow. When I saw it I had to see it a few more times. An absolute masterpiece.
