My mother was a stewardess for Mohawk Airlines. It wasn’t a trans-continental airline but she heard stories too. She believed them. Wouldn’t have prior to her visit, on a lark, to a “psychic” whose reading/warning(s) ALL came true. Most important being the premonition of an apartment fire 🔥 (she shared an apartment in Boston with another Stewardess) started by an iron. Thank God no one was harmed and there was minimal damage. That coming true and the fact that she was told she was pregnant with a son (very, VERY early in her pregnancy) that was true. My big brother. She was fired because back then you couldn’t be married, divorced, pregnant, have any kids prior, had to be a certain weight and age). This was the late 60’s mind you. But I digress. She believed them due to every single thing predicted by the psychic coming to fruition.
