Self Introduction Speech

Topic: Important information all about me, and what I aspire for the future
Specific Purpose Statement: To discuss background information in regards to introducing an audience about who I am, as well as the most influential people in my life and my goals for the future.
Thesis Statement: Having influential people in my life has encouraged me to become the person I am today with the goals that I have obtained for the future.
Introduction:
I am a very driven and goal-oriented person. Growing up in a large city allowed me to be introduced to various activities throughout the past 19 yearsof my life. Along with all of these opportunities, the people that were the most involved in my life, such as my parents, sister, close friends, and past teachers have had a large influence on the type of person I have become and aspire to be.

B. Sports are very influential on my life and made me a very dedicated, focused, and competitive
C. The dedication that I obtained from the various activities I partook in throughout my life have helped me understand exactly want I want to do in the future.

A. Graduate College within 4 Years (including the completion of my student teaching)

Conclusion:
Overall, I am a very driven and dedicated person that truly enjoys reaching a set goal. My attitude and kind heart are what will make me a successful elementary teacher in the future. These traits have all been obtained due to the people that have influenced and shaped me into the person I am today and I cannot thank them enough for that. Although I have a busy schedule with work and college courses, I believe that my future is very bright due to the plans that I intend on meeting and creating to better myself and all those around me.
