She is also a great songwriter. If you know Josh Groban songs, you would know Broken Vow. It was written by Lara Fabian.
Check out her singing Adagio, You're Not From Here, Intoxicated, Conquered, Perdere l'Amore, and Je T'aime (a live version, her audiance sings to her, and it's so moving). She has recorded and sang songs live in English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian... and maybe more. Her biggest hit in the United States was I Will Love Again. One of the greats, a critically acclaimed performance- Je Suis Malade. She also wrote, in Russian, Mrs. Zivago. She is originally from Belgium. Her Dad is Belgian and her Mom is Italian. She lived in Quebec and is HUGE in Canada, but also throughout Europe, and Brazil, Russia... an audiance everywhere. She is a lovely, compassionate, passionate, exceptionally gifted artist. As I said, her songwriting is the equivalent of her vocals, which is rare.
