2001 Yamaha WR250F

Short little video of my 2001 WR250F! I purchased the bike used with the Devol radiator guards, aftermarket lower skid plate and kickstart lever, and Jardine RT-Four exhaust already done. I added the bush-guard hand protection as well as the 2003-2004 auto-decompression cam swap so I no longer require the use of the decompression lever when starting. That is by far the best mod to this bike by FAR and very simple.

As you can see I underestimated my ability to kick start it while filming (I had just done the walk-around and start of the 1982 SP125) but this bike will fire after a good solid 1st kick normally. A few wimpy half-assed kicks can still get it going as you can see!

FWIW... 69 is my cabin lot number!

I have one and its can be a pain to start some times its my first dirt bike but owned many other motorcycles. I will deffently be looking into that cam swap
