This Calculus 3 video on derivatives of vector-valued functions and tangent vectors for vector-valued functions shows how to differentiate vector functions, explains some differentiation rules (chain rule and product rules for scalar product, dot products, and cross products), and works some examples. We do a basic example of finding the derivative of a vector-valued function, an example of finding a tangent vector at a particular value for t, and finding instantaneous velocity and speed of a particle that travels a curve based on a vector function.
