Pretty sure that’s how Jason Todd was “killed” in the comics too. He was beaten to near death and then the warehouse blew up before Batman could get there. Also, that wasn’t jimmy Olsen.

If you read Death in The Family or watch Under The Red Hood, Jason Todd was not only beaten with a crowbar, but also blown up.

It is quite unfortunate that DC fans weren't able to see how Robin's death in the hands of the Joker played out on-screen.

It works for me though. Let's say he doesn't blow him to pieces. Joker beats him with a crowbar, plants a bomb near him and blows the room up. Jason is dead, suit charred, mask broken. In this version, Joker returns to the scene to paint Ha Ha Ha on his broken armor. Batman gets the body etc etc etc all the way to a Lazarus Pit. Jason comes back and we have the makings of the Red Hood movie that was said to be in development. If Snyder was going down a road similar to this, I like it. This could be a version of events fans were saying they like because it's similar to the Red Hood story they know.

Getting blown up is how Jason Todd died in the comics. It is a common misconception that he died from a crowbar but that’s not correct. Jason was beaten with a crowbar but the building he was being beaten in exploded so he died being blown up.

there is a rumor that Zack actually film this scene to of how that robin died and that when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice begin see robin died and how joker killed that robin but WB know they don't understand anything about the character they cut the entire scene out of the movie and this is the same WB that cut the entire the flash scene cause they didn't get it so I hope to god that since Jamie it the head of WB he don't get block like Zack did and Jamie can do whatever

A competent director would have shown it. If he would have done 1 hour less of unnecessary slow motion, he would have had plenty of time.

Im not that against this because of he was apparently "blown up to the point of there being no body" that means they never found a body and comic book laws mean that he survived so I'm leaning more to it being the way they explain how he survived
