I bought mine in May 2023. I'm thinking of getting a full size bike for longer rides, but I will never part with my Monkey. This little bike is so much fun to run around on. I joked to a friend that if it comes to a point that I'm not able to ride anymore, I will drain the gas out of it, and park it in my living room and look at it.🤣🤣🤣

Amazed you're still walking properly, I'm sure 8 stone Jodie will extract her revenge when you least expect it.

Another great episode thanks Nick. I too have a Monkey same colour and love it. You mentioned a battery change on the other Monkey. Any recommendations? Mines flat after couple of days. Motobatt one not that old, few months. Loved this review thanks

I got a 125 (Benelli TNT) in December but by April I upgraded to a new 390. 125s are a laugh and cheap to run but most experienced riders will get fed up soon if it’s your only bike. Great video by the way.

Hi Nick your Videos are always confidence inspiring, remember i bought a Honda NC750X at the time of finding you, and ive watched every Bike review you have done, loved them all..I decided to come away from Motorcycles now, and im Heavily into MAXI SCOOTERS...I have a Burgman 400 now and my insurance is going to Blow you away..I pay only £98 per year...YES £98 per year thats Protecting my NCB and is Fully Comp, and includes 1 year RAC Break down service..I do most of the Servicing myself which is Really easy, and i just LOVE the CVT Engineering, no chain to oil and an incased Drive belt, is only changed every 12.500 miles or just over...Now i LOVE the Monkey Bike, and yes they are comfy, but its a tad small for me, but they look so much fun, and you clearly are having so much fun..Safe riding both you and Jodie....

Thank you for the honest review. I agree, the wind deflector looks absolutely bitchin', and so does the exhaust. Now coming from someone who never owned and probably never will a black bike and who doesn't even like black leathers or whatever, I really think that the grey scheme of your bike isn't that terrible at all. It's actually elegant. You might be able to make something quite sweet just with accents, maybe orange, or red, or yellow, maybe even a different color I'm not thinking about like... purple (???). Accents look really sharp on a black or grey bike. It's a really cool looking bike already though. Ride safe, you and your wife.

Ay man. Currently looking into getting a driving license. Would u recommend a Monkey as a first motorbike? I do regular traveling with tent on my mountainbike (pedal bike) but now I'm looking into doing it with a motorcycle. I don't like highway, so it doesn't need highway speeds. Do you still own it? Also do u still have no complaints about long rides?

I like underpowered vehicles, having owned two Citroen 2CVs and one Citroen Dyane. I am an experienced motorcyclist of aound 275, 000 miles - bikes of all sizes and power - and fancy a Suzuki VanVan 200 to replace my KTM 390 Duke up here in the far north of Thailand. If I can't find one it will be a Monkey. My big bike is a Yamaha SCR950.
Very good review, even if I hate the screen.

What brand of mirrors are those? They look like Fenrir that I have on my Vitpilen. The link in the description does not work.

I'm thinking of buying one but I'm not sure because I want to drive long tours with my bf who has a stronger machine. Just wondering if I should look for a different motorcycle, I can only drive 125ccm

Bought my Monkey in June 2023. Have added a T-Rex racing wind shiel, rear rack and center stand. Also the $120 Man in the box rear shocks and mirror extenders to put them further out. I like my bikes quite but would like to find a low exhaust as quite as the stock one. Regularly get between 114-140 miles per gallon.

Pardon my ignorance, can you unscrew the gas cap and spin it into the orientation you like?

Thanks a lot. I just bought a red one 😀. Any chance you could make a short video how to adjust the height of the break pedal and gear lever. Thanks in advance.
