Maybe a good start for lowering emissions would be to scale back the amount of government travel, we have the ability to speak to others in a meeting across the world now. The fact that the Paris climate event cost more carbon than your average citizen would use in a lifetime shows that these people who are so concerned, are only planning changes for the average taxpayer. Politicians and activists should Lead by example if this is such an issue, look at Leo decrapio and al gores use of carbon, its insane and is baffling since they both claim to be so pro green.
