Plot: Elizabeth is the daughter of James Flint, the notorious pirate, residing in Nassau and terrorising the whole region. She is brought up by co-joint efforts of that Barlow woman and the pirate captain himself. As hard as they try to shield her from the pirate nature of their lives, Elizabeth grows up longing for the sea and eventually forces her own path into piracy.
The reason you see a random shot of Edward Teach is that this video is a part of a wider universe, a bigger project I have been working on since, uh, November. Hopefully, I will finish it sometime in March. But I needed to rest from the big project for a bit and decided to vid something in-universe.
James' wife, the mother of Elizabeth, dies sometime before the events of Black Sails, and when Thomas Hamilton starts working with James McGraw, Elizabeth is a young child, and she spends a lot of time at the Hamilton's estate. When Thomas is taken, James and Miranda head together to Nassau, taking Elizabeth with them. Miranda is not her mother, but could as well be.
