I found this video because I was having a hard time with a strange format on my document. I am filling in exam answers and it seems to insist on some sort of an outline format. However, the previous exams that I have saved in the same document don’t have the same attributes. I don’t understand why this particular exam is forcing anything with a hyphen to be double spaced from the last lines or anything with capital letters at the beginning to be as well. To be fair I even went back and removed all capital letters and hyphens and found that it still recognized it as something that needed to be double spaced as an outline or something. What gives?

This whole white space thing has been a nightmare for me when using WPS docs.
Im doing it via the menu shown in this video and I press "Set as default".
But when I open a new document, WPS won't use my new settings.

I'm going to switch away from WPS because of this.

Was looking up how to get rid of the spaces between paragraphs and got this. Not helpful at all.
