Quick user experience. I installed Vivid and 3M in 2014. Vivid is still on my side markers, lasted until 2022 until last summer when I moved to area with 110+ days summer last year and the heat cooked it. But remarkable performance. But the generic 3M used on front grill trim didn’t last 2 season and was replaced 4x in since 2012 until i finally ran out vinyl

I like it, i just think that it looks purple just like the original tek-r. I wish they would make it more black in color, real carbon has a black and silver tint to it. I seen a clip of a person comparing tinybot 6d carbon to a real carbon hood and it was really close but the real carbon was a bit lighter in color. Im sure its extremely difficult to make vinyl look like the actual fibers in carbon, maybe this film if it were more black/silver in color and perhaps with a PET backing to give it that deep gloss??

Im trying to use the older version and although it looks great its hard to apply. I have a rear licence plate panel with some curves i want to wrap with the older version. im having a hard time wrapping basic items. I would love to see a side by side comparison on how these 2 versions look.

Is the vinyl sizes on the website (cut from master roll) and the say 10ft roll on Amazon the same product? If its MCF on the site how old is the roll about?
