I think both fields are good but there must be someone to take care of animals too which can’t even talk.
There is no any deference b/w MBBS and DVM both are working hard to save lives but it’s really so hard to treat an patient which can’t say about their pain .
Being a veterinarian I love my field ❤️

9:14 I felt that. Since I was a child, I wanted to become a vet (or do something for animals). But, society brainwashed me into aiming for mbbs. I also love human anatomy, so I just went with it. Now I am again reconsidering my choices and right now I am 50-50 on both. FML.

It was really an informative talk for non vets. I wants to mention here about the salary structure. In most of the North Indian states the basic salary of a veterinary surgeon or veterinary medical officer is 56100 whereas for an assistant professor it is 57700 as per 7th CPC. The other allowances are as per government norms.
