All right Mr. Jelly. I know it’s been a while since this video came out, and I was very skeptical on how this process would work. Here’s the deal. After three months of making hard-boiled eggs in my ninja 6.5 foodi not one of those eggs caused any problems. I am so amazed at how easy they are to peel, it’s just like a zipper was put on each egg. I’ll never go back to boiling eggs again!

You nailed it. I love deviled eggs and have tried every trick for an easy peeling egg. The pressure cooker is the best so far.

Great info.

I picked up the OXO holders and had 16 eggs to cook. They all leaped out of the shell without any problem. What a great tip you gave me. Thanks John.., , , ,

WOW i tried your method and love the results all the eggs were cooked the same the yolks were all creamy almost like custard, the only thing i did different was as i took the eggs out of the Ninja i tapped them on my counter and then put them in the ice bath. As i picked them up they all started to fall out of the shell. Thanks for your video keep up the good work i enjoy watching and learning...

While I love silicone, instead I use a stainless steel steamer basket with carry handle. Once the cooking is done, the whole basket with eggs gets dunked into ice cold water.

Used the metal egg holder, but will check into the silicone ones you used for larger amounts. You’re method worked like a charm. Thanks! 🙂

I never dreamed the Foodi could do boiled eggs!!! I have so much trouble with boiling eggs, this is fantastic! Thanks for sharing, I'll look at some more of your videos. You should make an affiliate link to that yellow thingy (you deserve the credit/money for selling it).

I got the oxo egg and oxo steamer/trivit on sale at Ralph's/Kroger over the holidays. A friend has the Ninja and it got me thinking today and there you are showing both. LOL. Nice use on using two silicone OXO yellow egg holders. 😊

I would do the 5, 5, 5 method. 5 minutes under pressure, 5 minutes natural release and crack the egg and place it in the ice bath for 5 minutes. The eggs peel so easy.

I've had my Foodi for awhile now and am going to attempt to make the eggs, thanks for the videos!!

If you crack the eggs before putting them in the cold water, they will peel even easier. Trust me, give it a try. And there really is no need to use ice, just cold water will suffice.
