Italy to Deploy Additional Fighter Jets in Romania

Italy will allocate four more Eurofighter jets in addition to the four already in Romania, Italian Defense Minister Roberto Guerini said, Feb. 26, 2022.

As the European Union is finalizing a first package of sanctions against Russia, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi said Italy was ready to supply an additional 3,400 military personnel to support NATO efforts to contain the Ukraine crisis.
