(Jan. 19) Watch live as President Joe Biden delivers remarks at the White House and takes questions from reporters as he marks the end of his first term in office on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022.

Biden limps into his second year facing a cascade of perils, at home and overseas, as well as the prospect his party will lose control of Congress in November’s midterm elections.

On the eve of the anniversary of his inauguration, the president will defend his record so far in the White House at a 4 p.m. news conference in Washington.

Biden inherited the pandemic, and in his first months accelerated the U.S. vaccination campaign while spending political capital to win $1.9 trillion in relief for virus-stricken Americans. But he’s getting little love from voters for staving off a recession, as they contend with soaring energy and food bills while the omicron variant of the coronavirus surges across the country.

Well, I was watching this and thinking how nice it is to hear from The President of the United States🇺🇸. And I was struck by the callous demeanor of some reporters-people seem to just ask these rapid fire questions of the President and they do not seem to care one bit what his answer actually is. It is so obvious that this is happening. Why bother asking a question if you don't care about the answer? Seriously. The lack of respect at times for The President of the United States just kind of wears on me.
There was a time....seems like ages now. A different Society. A far more mannered culture. Sorry but it's true--when regardless of political affiliation-when the President was speaking--it mattered.
Then, as I was listening to a very eloquent President Joe Biden today-suddenly the entire broadcast-mid sentence was cut-all for the local news. And it also struck me as so insulting that the American people aren't even allowed to watch the President speak to them. And the Broadcasters decided to give in to the Commercial prepaid broadcast to fulfill their advertising quota. This is the culture of our Country now.
Love him or...whatever,
I just think the intolerance is a very bad sign of just how indifferent people are.
President Joe Biden Has gotten a TON of important stuff done for Our Country. He really has. And I am very Thankful for ALL he is doing.
Unity is so important.
Our Democracy is being threatened by other World powers who want us to be fractured and then we can't move forward as a Country.
As far as Voting Rights--while we're at it-fighting for Voting Rights-maybe since the incarceration rate is something crazy like 12%-maybe rethink giving convicts the right to Vote after they have served their sentence? How about it? And I really dislike Criminals. I am not trying to do them any favors. I'm just saying...that's a lot of people. Tons of Votes.
As far as Russia is concerned.
Are we going to War with Russia over Ukraine? Just us huh? So if Taiwan and Ukraine both get attacked, the US and only the US will get bloody protecting them while the World keeps turning-we get spread so thin Worldwide. Why can't the rest of the Super Powers pitch in and take care of these problems also?

Just rambling nonsensically now into oblivion.. That 5G is a Big Mistake. Just sayin....
God Bless Joe Biden 🇺🇸💖💪😎🙏 you're doing a GREAT Job! & Brightest Blessings & Brave Onward! 🙏😎💪💖🇺🇸 ~
