Good explanation - and more important than anything, you showed what worked AND what did NOT work. Great job.

Ive found that if you are looking for a decent temporary/permanent fix without having to remove the subframe, you can modify a few radial arm bushings from a 2005 Ford e350 as they share similar sizes. All you would have to do is cut the bushing to size, grind some material off and insert it without removing the old bushing. Using polyurethane caulking to help it stay in place.

Nice video. For everyone, be sure to use QUALITY brands, you don't want to do the same job 6 months later saving a few $$ on a chinese part

This video helps a lot, i have ordered parts but they will take 3-4 days. Do you think its too dangerous to drive without fixing it

Buddy of mine has a Nissan Rogue. Asked me to help him find the loud metal on metal clunking in the front-end. Turns out it was the front sub-frame bushing (just behind the lower rad support). Not familiar with nissans but when I did a search on the part it was obvious that this must be a very common problem for these vehicles. Except for pure greed I cannot explain why the car manufacturers cannot address and fix problems like this quicker (ie. like Subaru boxer engines and chevy minivans and their headgasket issues which went for years and years before implementing a simple solution which could have saved thousands of owners needless grief and expense).

Could this be the problem with my 2009 Nissan Cube? When I let go the gas, mainly at slow speeds, I can feel and hear a knock behind the gas pedal. Just started happening sometime last year.

Can you do this same technique with the front bushing or will it require you to remove the entire subframe?
