I am an American living in Thailand for the past 18 years and I try to do a lot of meditation. It is hard for Westerners to get to the point of total consciousness but I do reach it sometimes. When you are able to get to that level, you walk away with an almost euphoric feeling. I only wish I could be better at it.❤

My father was a Pentecostal Pastor. When we got sick, he’d pray over us & put his hand over the area of pain & discomfort. I’d wake up from a nap he put me in feeling just fine. He was a real man of God. I hated him as a 20 yr. Old. But this thought brought me back to the realization that he was just doing things he believed in. He didn’t realize how much I hated him. But in the end he apologized before his death. He knew he was dying & made the right choice b4 he died. I know he’s in heaven. Nobody’s perfect. Parenting is so hard. I know that now.
