I remember when my girlfriend went to Norway for a six-month internship in January 2018. I felt completely empty and persecuted by dogma under the command of a strong melancholy. That's when I discovered this channel and musical gem with the wonderfully mysterious Njól by Jeremy Soule. Additionally, I added Winter Storm Ambience to the music sounding for my sensitive ears. It was an incredible effect romanticizing the image of my dreams. The idea turned into reality, my girlfriend wrote me wonderful things about the city and the surroundings of Bergen. A cold wind from the sea blew into the fjord, heavy drifts of snow covering every inch so that not even a step could be seen. When the sky brightened from the high hills above the city, the sun together with the first rays of the morning took over the port city like a magic wand, the mood of the living people smiles. According to her, it was idyllic, but in a way sad that she was alone.

Unfortunately, after a few years, a decade of these memories hit me again. I don't talk to that woman anymore and I have a feeling that ordinary human stupidity can do a lot of bad things. Therefore, when I remember, I pair the music again and in the early evening, when it is stiff and freezing cold, I put it in my headphones and listen sad and alone.

Poor Soule. I heard he is now a bitter and sad person and really hope his life will turn around.
His fate is symbolic actually. Remember how we, a whole generation of gamers, were young, beautiful, full of hopes, laughter and feelings, how we literally lived and inhabited Tamriel in each of the series installments and music of Jeremy Soule accompanied us on all of our life stages? And now we are dried out, broken shells. Like Soule, we also had our downfall. Beauty does not linger in this world, only whither.
I don't speak for all the gamers but a significant part of us who got lost in life, lost friends, relatives, girlfriends.
