Of the games that get remakes and remasters nowadays, this is the one I'd like to see remade from the ground-up. Seriously, imagine this game with today's standards of graphics and a reinvigorated open-world design. It's kind of odd they haven't decided to make a sequel or remake so far.

I remember being excited for DCUO to come out on PS3 and went to buy it asap knowing (as a kid) I could only play for 1 month and not afford another after buying the game for full retail price. I also remember having a ps magazine that showed 1 pic of the game with Flash running up a building that was a few years before the game was released, that excited me so much. I remember it took me 24 hours to install it on my PS3...what a time.
I'm glad it became free as I got to return and enjoy it but I haven't played in ages. Very cool it's been around this long, over 10 years now! It was released on January 11 2011!

I still love this game. I wish they would update it for new hardware. That's the only thing holding it back. It's still one of the best MMO's I've ever played. They handled character customization perfectly in terms of character look. Constant updates for 10 years. Daily maintenance to make sure things are always running smoothly.

This is an MMO done right. Still has a strong player base but would be ten times what it is if it just got updated for new hardware.

I like how all the hits don't affect any of the characters. Not a single flinch or sign the punches are doing damage.... literal spam fest smh
