This song is so underrated. Samuel Seabury was a real man, and 'The Farmer Refuted' was the pamphlet that Hamilton wrote to refute what he said about Congress. It shows that Seabury is a traditionalist (the traditional melody he refuses to stray from) while Hamilton is a genius AND a revolutionary (his quick rapping that matches Seabury's singing, along with the fact that he can just interject whenever he pleases, because he has no specific melody to stick to).
