"Never not strong enough" my 2022 mantra.

My grandmother fell in the shower. She was overweight and we weren't able to get her out. We had to call the emts to come help. She never spoke after that and passed away shortly after.

I often wonder if she would have been around longer if we could have got her out of the bath without calling in random people to help. Ever since I've made it my goal to lose weight and get stronger.

I was over 300 pounds and today I am 180 pounds. My goal is to be able to lift anyone in my family without assistance.

Never not strong enough.

I love the advice in changing mindset. My favorite quote from an old teacher was “the best exercise is the one that you do”. It’s really all about consistency and goals. Excellent video!

It has been 6 months since I started going to the gym and I’ve always compared myself with other’s progress. This video reminded me of why I got into fitness in the first place. It was for me to get back to who I was before pandemic, energetic and full of happiness. It was not for me impress anyone or myself. It was for me to become happy again with who I am without any insecurities. Thanks for this bro! This really helped a lot

Great advice Ben! Having a plan, even if you dont reach your goals on the first, or even the nth time, keeps you moving in the right direction. Hope you had a great New Years, and greetings from the last (relatively) covid free part of Australia.

I just started my three day per week calisthenics training last week. I appreciate this video. It's a nice reminder that I'm not going to see any major physical differences for 4-6 months and to give myself time.

I didn't realize I even had a mantra until now.. it's silly and long for a mantra, but it's Ronnie Coleman's "everybody wants to be a bodybuilder but don't nobody want to lift no heavy ass weight!" It always makes me laugh, but it also makes me push myself harder. You've got a great channel here man, love it!

Dear Ben, I just want to thank you so much for helping people get out of their victim mentality. I so love everything you've pointed out here. I truly believe, that we are supposed to take charge of our life, no matter the circumstances. Everything you've said, I've learned to apply to my own life and I share the same experience as you - that we can create the reality we live in and truly transform our lifes. Spirit, Mind, Body - whatever we desire :) Whenever I lack confidence or happiness in a certain area of my life and start reflecting on it, I come to the same realisation over and over again: I lost that inner vision and slipped into a victim mentality. This content here is amazing. Thank you! Love your spirit.

Ok I'll give this a try, I haven't worn a short sleeve shirt in 16 years (I'm 32 tomorrow) so this is my biggest drive, get some biceps/forearm and feel not ashamed of my spaghetti arms, been doing bwf for the past 3 months and so far so good! Also trying to gain some weight because that's always been the hardest part for me, hopefully I'll get there, actually I'll get there eventually.

Thanks for the video! Really inspiring!

this has honestly been some of the most helpful advice, my issue is consistency, i keep starting but don’t continue, though if i have a board that constantly reminds me of my goals that might be enough to always remind me. thank you!

My friend Nils asked me to watch this and I have really thought about what you advise and I have made notes of the many reasons why to improve my health and I have made some goals (although so far I haven't made them time-based).

This message is one part of my accountability! 😁

Thank you so much for the free advice, Ben. You are fucking awesome. If you ever have a dark day, try to remember all the me's out there who you've helped. Because you have definitely left your mark. 🤗

I'm 6 months into changing my body and I holeheartedly agree with this video. This thinking is how I got here. You verbalized it better than I could.

Had a lot of health problem. And injuries but slowly building myself up again for the past few months and been eating clean longer than I ever have. Pretty much no urges for junk food anymore… lost 20 lb not in the best health and put some muscle on. I will say my body will take a year or more to get too but I’m not giving up no matter what life throws at me… I love seeing fitness channels being real about the journey ! I look at myself in the mirror and sometimes cry in a good way because I’m actually starting to love myself a lil bit. I just want to encourage people to never give up and no matter what u can reach ur goals. Also wanna throw out there don’t be afraid to drop ur ego and lift light and build up!

The reason i dont go to the gym is social anxiety, I've been through therapy and it got me into the gym for the first time, but im still not confident enough to walk in there without psyching myself up first. Its such a struggle
