I always thought the asterisk was meant to us that the members we're seeing rn are not the true thunderbolts team and that Val is testing who's qualified to be a member. Maybe that's why the tag line says "careful who you assemble".

I really wanted Bucky to eventually become The White Wolf and get that upgrade, like Sam Wilson got by becoming the new Captain America. The Winter Soldier moniker doesn't really fit him anymore now that Bucky is redeemed. I also think the White Wolf costume would look cool in live action.

Sentry doesn’t warp reality, at least not in any of his early publications. It was Reed Richards who helped program the Watchtower to send out a signal to wipe all memory of the Sentry and the Void from everyone including Robert Reynolds himself. Because the Sentry is his good stable side, the Void is the other half of his power and evil side. Partly stemming from his Dissociative identity disorder.

I'm surprised you didn't mention that the long, blond hair in the last of the images of Bob's head is what Sentry's hair looks like in the comics. This would seem to indicate that that's the look the scientists working on him have settled upon.
