I think you can use parchment paper instead of plastic wrap. The parchment will protect the book pages. Cool channel. I’ll be back!

If you put a sheet of wax paper down your box won’t get ruined and the risk of losing petals is a lot less! I press a lot of my flowers with stems or in arrangements. On thicker pieces I spray with rubbing alcohol to prevent mold.

Nice job of showing how to press flowers. But I have one more important question. How long do you leave them in the book?

I love the way you give details of the flower…it’s good to know the different type of flowers.

I honestly wouldn't mind if watching this everytime you do it. Even like if you're not talking much in it and its just you explaining the flowers, then the process of pressing and then putting them in the photo album. I'd honestly watch it for hours.

This is really an old school method. My mom taught me this when i was a little girl. The heavier the book the better, but she taught me to use wax paper. Im not sure if that helps anyone but sometimes when you press flowers n leaves (for fall) you may get a inky residue from colors. This helps save your books from being ruined. If you don't have wax paper you might be able to use paper towels but I haven't tried that yet. Just an idea...

Snapdragon seed pods look like little skulls. It's wicked, I love them so much for that reason

NOTE: you can also use 2 piece of MDF wood about 16 by11, 3 millimeters thick, papertowles & parchment paper. 1 piece of wood, then 2 sheets paper towel, next parchment-place the flowers, then parchment on top of flowers, then papertowles & the last piece of MDF wood, secure with elastic bands & place weighted object (I.e., books) on top....flowers will be ready in 10-14 days. (place in a plastic container with a good lid, put 2 pieces of papertowles & some silica beads, fold over & glue or tape.
