Native Instruments Straylight - Mortal Dust

Inspired by composers such as Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, Tori Letzler and Lorn, Mortal Dust takes carefully crafted gritty samples from Instruō and Noise Engineering eurorack VCO’s, and then filters, modulates and morphs them into hazy, dreamy, lofi, folded, rhythmic, introspective, pensive, gravelly, cinematic sound designs.

Features 50 granular presets and includes wav samples and loops for the granular engine. The sample engine has been intentionally left empty to allow you to add your own samples to compliment the feeling for each preset. All 4 macro’s and the X-Y mod matrix have been mapped for each preset, and works seemlessly with Komplete Kontrol and Maschine hardware including browsing tags.

5 free presets from the soundset are also availble for download on our website.

In this video we present a selection 25 of the 50 presets available, no external effects were used, just a subtle limiter on the output.
