#22 F90 King Air - The Hot Rod of the King Air Series

In this video we are flying our company's 1980 Beechcraft F90 King Air. A lot of people have not heard of the F90 model which is a high-performance or hot rod version of the 90 King Air Series. It's got bigger engines, smaller wings, the T-tail from the B200 and other larger King Air series aircraft and a few other features like the same fuel system as in the B200.
Since one of our customers has a new 2018 C90 GTX and I just went to King Air school we will compare the 2018 model to our 1980 F90 King Air in a future video.

I flew on one from the Double Eagle airport in ABQ to Afton, WY in 2010. The guy who owned the aircraft was from Artesia and had a bunch of oil money. He owned the company I worked for at the time and he took myself and two other guys mule deer hunting. He was one of the most down to earth people I’ve ever met and I’ve had an affinity for these aircraft ever since.

my uncle flew an F90 for years.
I had the pleasure of flying with him many times
before the F90 he flew a Cheyenne III .
Also a fine aircraft fast ! sporty .
But the F90 feels sturdy, stable.+ comfort.
Good old days....
