Woah turned out lovely!!
If ya ever try it again, I'd recommend using a paste/mixing a paste using your drywall compound n a powder, there's many ways to mix a texture paste, adding baking soda or powder, adding grout, plaster ect. It would Def give a closer look to the inspiration pieces

(I'm autistic and bad with words, this is in no way saying what you did wasn't good, or is flawed, it's not at all!! It's just something ik could create a specific effect n wanted to share ^^ )

Some beach hotel art I saw did the same technique but a bit better to make it look cooler is by using materials you normally encounter on the beach, sand, shells, pebbles, highland grass, feathers.
It looked really amazing 👀✨

Awesome! If you give this another try, maybe try scraping away from the drywall foam ridge on one side so it looks more like a wave rolling in. The monochrome piece you show in the clip is close to what I’m trying to describe.

I like how the painting came out, and i like how this video came out even more. Such impressively strong go try inspiration energy.

Thank you for continuing this series I initially followed you for dude! Kinda random, but haven't seen you on my Shorts feed since you made the video about your Dad and you soon becoming once (so cool!), and just wanted to say I'm really thankful for what you said. It really opened my eyes hearing someone talk about both A) the release of forgiveness and B) not diminishing the harm someone's done and not forgetting.
I've started willingly seeing psychologist about the horrors and abuse I endured during childhood before I was legally removed from that home, and now a decade later at 24, I want to be a normal man and cry happy tears too. I really admire you, and want to be an artist again.

This looks so good!! Have you ever tried to do any abstract scrape art? I feel like it would be up your alley

You can also put real sand with the paint so that it can give texture to the sand area.

This is another great idea when you go on vacation to a tropical beach paradise to create something there, to bring back home, to remind you of the place. i would do 3 large canvases that flow into each other.

What if you hung it off the wall in a shelf shape so that the landscape is upright
