Black Friday online sales hit record $9.1 billion, Americans travel for Thanksgiving

Both sides of the Canadian and U.S. border were buzzing with Black Friday Deals this year.

Despite inflation hitting its highest level in some 40 years, Americans shoppers spent a record $9.1 billion online during Black Friday.

It appears to be a positive sign for retailers seeing slow sales throughout 2022.

As Jennifer Johnson reports, Americans are not only buying big, but also travelling far and wide this Thanksgiving weekend.

Black Friday was so disappointing, that as I purused Walmart, the first store I was going to, everything was RAISED by $20-$100 dollars from two weeks before, so I just bought some fishing gear, & skipped the other stores, & went out fishing. That's the first time, I've ever done that.
