AIS Port Monitoring

Nanaimo Port Authority monitoring system integrated into the Xanatos Marine Titan Sentinel control center. System provides real time monitoring of almost every parameter relevant to safety and efficiency of navigation with the following instrument set:
- Ultrasonic wind speed and direction (inc wind gust and beaufort scale categorization)
- Air temperature, pressure and relative humidity (inc pressure tendency and dew point calculations)
- Radar rainfall sensor (rain, snow)
- Barometric pressure
- Visibility sensor (infrared forward scatter)
- Salinity sensor
- Water temperature (surface and bottom)
- Tide level and tendency
- Surface current speed and direction
- Multi-depth current speed and direction
- Wave height, period and direction
- Hydrocarbon (oil) detector
