Included in this scene, is Hawk presenting some valuable advice to his son Mike, when he throws a strop and preemptively quits. Only to be motivated into finishing his little contest off.

Fun fact- the bully kid is played by Jimmy Keegan, now a professional drummer best known for his work with Santana and the progressive rock bands Spock’s Beard and Pattern Seeking Animals. He said in an interview a few years ago part of why he got the role in this movie because playing drums his whole life made his forearms look more defined than the average kid his age.
