When CHP pulls u over refuse all there tests. I’ve seen guys rev their engines for CHP as he’s got his sensor out testing ur exhaust. I’ve seen it done with window tent and I’ve had them pull out tape measures to measure the height of my truck. The problem the CHP is NOT pulling u over because u committed a crime/traffic offense, their pulling u over with the “Suspicion” ur vehicle has illegal mods. Then they ask u the driver to help them prove their suspicions were correct. Refuse all of it, turn ur car/truck off and ask the reason for the stop? Outside of window tint there is NO possible way a human can hear or see ur vehicle being to high or low without a tape measure and it’s impossible to tell if a modified exhaust is too loud. Those have to be tested and “Suspicion” is NOT legal grounds to pull u over. But who the hell am I kidding, CHP do what they want when they want and it’s total BS. Yea, there are quotas, and yes us modified truck/car people pay for all their new toys to write u more tickets with, and this is the reason we are pulled over in the 1st place, because we have the money to pay for ridiculous tickets and that goes right into the CHPs bank account for new instruments to screw us even more. 42yrs born and raised in Cali and I’ve never wanted to leave until the last 4-5yrs. CA gov is so corrupt it’s sickening. If ur a middle aged white guy like me kiss all ur rights good bye cause u are labeled a bigot and racist from second 1 and this stems directly from communist/socialist ideals that Cali has some how adopted. Once my daughter is 18yrs old we’re leaving Cali. Short 3yrs hopefully.
