I experiment using iOS music apps. The tactile interface of an iPad opens up a whole new world. And it’s easy enough to hook these directly into a desktop DAW like Studio One. Whole new world of inspiration!

Back when I started writing music, the instrument in hand and paper was the only option. Now that I have S1 I can hear all my ideas in real-time. So I write exclusively in the DAW. Sample One is a very powerful tool that I reach for quite often to enhance programmed drums or to add other weirdness that is missing from the soundscape.

I have become a compleat studio Zombie, i was trying to find something to distract me from the constant writing, practicing recording and i found that I'm just not interested in anything other than getting better vocals and finnishing my mixes. Presonus should upgrade Sample One XT as it is currently inefficient and lacks the quality of Ableton and Logic's samplers.

Hi Joe and thanks for the great video as always. I have decided finaly after couple of years to upgrade my home studio with studiolive 64S or a highend audio interface, like RME UFX2, and im abit confused here. Is Studiolive 64s or 32s good enough for studio recording mixing and mastering in terms of Converters and sound quality and can i use it as my audio interface instead of buying a new interface? (I realy not going to use it Live at least in near future). And one other question do i need a good pc to use it or i dont have to worry about my PC cpu and stuff any more and can rely totaly on studiolive dsp. Sorry abit long 😅 but i dont want to make a big mistake with that much money! Thank you
